In efforts to speed the pursuit of crypto adoption to the masses, and to empower businesses to benefit in the process, Cros is designed to facilitate this paradigm shift that is based on a completely revised definition of “ownership,” “control,” and “trust” — the hallmarks of the operational model of traditional business. Blockchain technology can be the enabler of such a paradigm shift towards cooperative competition, or “co-opetition”.
Cros’ design is built on a number of principles. For starters, process execution on the blockchain will comprise of policy-based bindings of actors and assets to roles. Privacy compliance will be built-in, thanks to smart contracts. A marketplace will also be in place to ease domain-specific integrations with the organization, and smart contracts will have execution logic and assets encoded on to them.
For the sake of easier integration, off-chain runtime will be available making way for no dependency on on-chain process execution. Design tools will also be provided to deploy contracts from existing BPMN systems. Domain and use case-based plugins and adapters will also be supplied for the integration runtime. Data access and actions will be restricted based on policy and execution state. To comply further with privacy, Cros will also provide restricted and ephemeral data services and mappings.

Through Cros, the data creators will finally benefit from their data as we will redistribute part of the revenue generated in $CROS token to the very users whose data will be used.
$CROS is an atomic unit of value exchange inside the Cros ecosystem, resulting in the creation of a transactional economy between buyers and sellers. This consists of features that allow users to earn value and to spend it on services that are internal to the Cros ecosystem.
The token will be used to fuel the Cros ecosystem, powering a decentralized data cloud and DeFi system. With the token you will also be taking part in the democracy of Cros, proposing and voting on changes in the network’s development including parameters such as: Payments, Staking, and Liquidity.
